What we do in this class:
At Munkley Fitness the trainers thoroughly enjoy having an event to work towards. We take part in 5km Park Runs, 10km, half marathon & marathon running events. We like swimming events & multi-discipline events like Aquathons & Triathlons. We don’t enter to try and win, we enter because we find it fun and enjoy having something to prepare for.
Have you entered yourself into your first 5km, 10km or marathon running race and have no idea how to train?………
We can help you plan a mileage plan to build up to your race, this can be made achievable to work around your lifestyle. To succeed and try to avoid injury some strength sessions in the gym would be advisable, we can also help you plan this. If your scared about running on your own or find in boring, then you can use our running clubs wherever possible to help.
Muddy obstacle runs can be a fun challenge for the whole family. You need to learn different skills such as crawling, pulling yourself up over walls, running with tyres, jumping over hay barrels and more. Our weekly fitness classes & personal training sessions can help to prepare you by building your strength and fitness.
